Guide
Every class on our timetable carries a small level letter. It tells you how demanding the class is, so you can choose a class that suits you today.
PB, Pre-Beginners: slow, simple classes for people who have never done yoga or are returning after a long break.
B, Beginners: you know the basic poses and want to build a steady routine.
M, Moderate: a steady pace with longer holds and more variety, for students with some regular practice.
A, Advanced: stronger and more challenging classes, such as arm balances and deeper backbends.
P, Props: classes built around equipment such as the wheel, bricks, straps, chairs, the ball or the wall rope.
T, Therapeutic: slow, careful classes that focus on specific areas such as the back, spine or shoulders.
MM, Mindfulness and Meditation: breathing, meditation and deep rest.
If you are new, begin with PB and B classes and try a T or P class when you are curious. If you already practise, M and A classes will keep you challenged. You can change level from week to week depending on your energy; there is no pressure to move up.
Not sure? Message the studio or speak to a teacher at your first visit, and we will suggest the right class for you.
It is better to start with PB and B classes and build up, because Advanced classes assume strength and flexibility you develop over time.
Yes. Kids Yoga has its own classes on the timetable, and there are dance classes too.
